About Our Tutor: Dennis Baker
Dennis Baker holds a Bachelor of Science and a Diploma of Education (Melbourne Universirty). He's a registered member of the Victorian Institute of Teaching, an accredited MSL Educational Specialist, a member of the Australian Dyslexia Association and a member of the Mathematical Association of Victoria.
In 2025, Dennis's tutoring business was awarded a ThreeBestRated Certificate of Excellence, as one of the top 3 tutors in Wodonga, Victoria.
Dennis has decades of experience working with students at all levels. He's helped many students to overcome their challenges, including past Year 12 students who have achieved high subject study scores and high overall ATAR rankings.
Our Approach to Learning
At Success Tutorials, both our individual and group tuition programs are designed to address each student's unique needs, learning style and readiness. We work with students from Foundation to Year 12, as well as tertiary and TAFE students, to help them integrate classwork, improve in areas of weakness, develop exam techniques and build confidence.
Our services are offered from our teacher's home in Whitebox Rise, Wodonga. We believe that consistent, regular sessions are essential to effective learning, which is why we require a minimum of one hour per week.
We also specialise in Multisensory Language programs for students with dyslexia and other learning disabilities such as autism, ADD/ADHD or getting stressed. We ensure that all students have the support they need to succeed. Whether it's english, maths, science, or specialised subjects such as the VCE and HSC, we meet the unique needs of every student.

Alex and Ben Robinson were home schooled by their mother Sally Haynes, until they started to attend this tutoring service in 2021.
